How to Enter “Toronto Sake Challenge 2025”

Application Rules
<Eligibility Criteria>
All producers, distributors, exporters, consultants and importers of sake.
<Types of Sake>
Only products with alcohol content below 20% (Futsushu, Honjozo, Junmai, Ginjo, Junmai Ginjo, Daiginjo, Junmai Daiginjo, Koshu (aged sake), Craft sake, etc.)
<Size of Sake>
2 x 720ml bottles for each entry (A total amount of 1440ml entered as minimum)
e.g. 5 x 300ml bottles
Each bottle must be less than 1L.
Each entry requires submission of the “Product Information Form” for each product. All submitted products will become the property of the local organiser.
<Entry Fee>
550 CA$ per entry (product)
<How to Pay>
The following payment methods are accepted.
- Credit card
- Bank transfer to the designated account of the local organiser
- PayPal (credit card)
- International money transfer services (e.g. WISE)
※ Entrants are responsible for all service charges that may occur during the payment process.
※ Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Shipping Information
- The local organiser confirms the availability of the sake, you want to enter, in Canada. Please wait for a message from us once you complete the entry. We do not ask you to send the sake to us right after the submission of your application.
- If available in Canada, the local organiser prepares samples and sends you an invoice for the entry fee.
- If you want to contact directly local distributers, reach out to the organisers via email first. The availability may be confirmed by the organisers.
- The products must be delivered to the designated address by Wednesday, 30th July 2025.
- Once the sake is delivered to us from entrants, it cannot be returned to you under any circumstances.

<If sake is available in Canada>
*When the local organiser finds samples
- The local organiser covers fees, including storage, license, etc.
*When entrants arrange samples
- Make sure to complete the shipment by the deadline. Entrants are also responsible for shipping costs, including insurance, etc.
<If sake is not yet distributed in Canada>
- The costs, such as insurance, caused by the international shipment to the designated address must be covered by the entrants. The local organiser takes care of the expenses that may occur in Canada (e.g. storage).
